Crowfoot Pond, Oxfordshire

Upper Heyford Airfield

Uploader's Comments

The airfield was first used by the Royal Flying Corps in 1914, and by the Royal Air Force until the 1950s. It was a 'Cold War' base of the USAF until it was returned to the Ministry of Defence in 1994. It is now disused. Looking west from north of Aylesbury.
