From Coulston Hill we look over the rich farmland of west Wiltshire with Trowbridge trying to hide between the hills and not quite succeeding. Further on Bradford on Avon makes a far better show with Christchurch standing bold near the right hand edge of the frame nearly nine miles away. However, at twice the distance, Bradford is easily outdone by Beckford's Tower on Lansdown. [[ST7367]] There it is, on the skyline, at 18 miles, a little to the left of Christchurch.
