Burnt Gill, County Durham

Rush-clogged groove of Burnt Gill

Uploader's Comments

Burnt Gill is a tributary of the River Greta; its course here, as with much of the surrounding moorland, is dominated by the growth of rushes. The valley of the River Greta lies to the north - the direction of the view in the photograph.
