This section of the west coast of Mingulay is split by several dramatic chasms caused by volcanic dykes forming lines of weakness more easily eroded by the sea. The geo here is followed by a large cave, with the entrance to the narrow sea channel around Arnamul beginning on the extreme right of the photo.
