Leaving Pillerton Hersey at SP30024871 heading south east is the Oxhill Bridle Road. This is an Unclassified Country Road. When it reaches SP30674815 it splits into a bridleway running to Butlers Marston, and a footpath going back to Pillerton Hersey by a parallel route. At this point is situated a memorial bench just off the bridleway, with Bright Hill Plantation behind it. The inscription on the brass plaque reads "IN LOVING MEMORY OF ALEXANDER HOWARD 1976 - 1999 SO LOVED, SO MISSED"
