Blanchland Moor, Carlisle

Vehicles crossing Blanchland Moor

Uploader's Comments

The moorland road crossing between Slaley Forest and Blanchland is a BOAT, a byway open to all traffic. On the day this image was recorded an unusual number of vehicles was seen using the route; at least some of the participants were motoring it having acted as marshals for an event in Kielder Forest on the previous day.
