Banstead Wood is ancient woodland, and supposed to once have been owned by Anne Boleyn. It was a medieval deer park and is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). This path is just inside Banstead Wood, not far from the car park off Holly Lane, near Chipstead station.
