Ardtreck Point, Highland

Lighthouse at Ardtreck Point

Uploader's Comments

The fully automatic lighthouse is powered by solar panels. It was erected in 2002, replacing a cast iron tower with gas-powered light. Across the mouth of Loch Harport is Ullinish Point, and just off the Point, the tidal island of Oronsay. Wider view: [[[4006066]]].
