An old stalkers' path, the start of which is marked on the Landranger map, will take you almost to this point, leaving a direct and obvious route if you're aiming for the Bealach nan Spainteach, seen directly ahead. The grass slopes in the foreground, which lie in the square, give reasonably easy walking, and the steeper bit beyond not much harder. Sgurr na Ciste Duibhe lies to the left of the bealach.
