Wadsley, eccl. dist. and ry. sta. (Wadsley Bridge), Ecclesfield par., S. div. West-Riding Yorkshire, on river Don, Smiles NW. of Sheffield, pop. 7248; P.O., and P.O. at sta., called Wadsley Bridge; has steel rolling, and mfrs. of knives, files, and combs. The South Yorkshire County Lunatic Asylum is close to the station.
