Reeth, small town and township, Grinton par., North-Riding Yorkshire, at confluence of Arkle Beck with river Swale, 8 miles W. of Richmond, 5699 ac., pop. 988; P.O., T.O.; is a tourist station for Upper Swaledale, and has trade in connection with the neighbouring lead mines.
