(mostly in Blaenavon), 4742 ac., pop. 7193; consists of 2 divisions - Lower Llanover, 1877 ac., pop. 322; and Upper Llanover (including part of Blaenavon town), 2865 ac., pop. 6871; the vil. is 3 miles SE. of Abergavenny; in vicinity is Llanover House, seat of Lord Llanover.
