Lees.-- town with ry. sta., Ashton under Lyne par., SE. Lancashire, 1½ mile SE. of Oldham by rail and within its parliamentary limits, pop. 3511; P.O., T.O., 2 Banks; has several large cotton mills, and partakes of the general prosperity of Oldham.
