Headingley cum Burley, township (ry. sta. Headingley), in par. and NW. of bor. of Leeds, E. div. West-Riding Yorkshire, on river Aire, 3183 ac., pop. 19,138; P.O., T.O., called Headingley. Leeds botanical and zoological gardens are here; bleachworks and worsted and flax mills are in vicinity.
