Garston.-- coast town and township, Childwall par., SW. Lancashire, on river Mersey, 4 miles SE. of Liverpool by rail, 1625 ac., pop. 10,271; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Salt is the chief mfr., and there are docks and ironworks.
