Codnor Park, par. and ry. sta., E. Derbyshire, on Erewash river and canal, 4 miles S. of Alfreton, 1458 ac., pop. 1073; contains Codnor Park, ruins of the old seat of the Zouches and the Lords Grey of Groby; also Codnor Park Ironworks, among the most extensive and important in the kingdom.
