Ongoing forest operations adjacent to the footpath in Virgin Hill Wood. The tractor in the background is an old Renault model and is equipped with a winch on the rear for pulling felled trees out of the wood. This farm track is also a bridleway carrying St Oswalds Way and the Northumberland Coast Path, despite being several kilometres from the coast!
