Greenwich Meridian crossing the lane to Avery's

Uploader's Comments

This picture was taken standing on the Greenwich meridian looking South. The left half of the image is in the Eastern Hemisphere and the right is in the Western. The meridian passes straight through the middle, see this http://www.riddlerworld.co.uk/meridian/PG1413.htm for an alternate image with the meridian superimposed as a yellow line. The Meridian crosses the concrete lane from Cooksbridge farm to Avery's. Not sure if the trees were planted on the meridian deliberately.
