Sloc Rubha, Na h-Eileanan Siar

Rubha Ghriminis

Even on a relatively calm and sunny day, the power of the Atlantic rollers here is awesome. A wonderful stretch of coastline. From here it is clear to see that the Haskeir islands comprise two separate groups of islets and stacks. To the left is Hasgeir Eagach and to the right the larger island and reefs of Eilean Hasgeir. The St Kilda group are visible from here, but do not show up on the photograph.
