Dissolution pipe at Short Cliff

Uploader's Comments

The photo shows the remnants of a dissolution pipe on the wave-cut platform at Short Cliff. The pipe would at one time have been in the chalk cliffs but has been entirely exposed and truncated by erosion. The pipe measures over two metres in diameter and just under one metre in height. It is one of a number of such pipes in the immediate area.
