Shaw Beck, North Yorkshire

Ruined buildings at the Prys Lead Mine

Uploader's Comments

The buildings stand on the bank of Shaw Beck below White Scar. The groove between the camera position and the smaller ruin is the location of the mine level; although partly collapsed the top of the tunnel portal is visible as are stones lining the channel leading to the level and stone steps too. Another ruined building's foundations can also be seen.
