Sappy Moss, Cumbria

Ruined sheepfold, Blea Gill

Uploader's Comments

A peaceful spot beside the beck. I know this stream as Blea Gill from the nearby cave of that name which was explored by the Lancashire Caving & Climbing Club in the 1970's. On maps the stream seems to be called Gill Head. The view is across Dentdale to the cloud shadowed flank of Rise Hill.
