Rosecroft Wood, Hambleton

Loftus railway station (site), Yorkshire

Uploader's Comments

Opened in 1875 by the North Eastern Railway on its line from Redcar to Whitby, this station closed to passengers in 1960. View south west across the tracks from the former goods yard. There used to be a more extensive building than this, to the right. Now only the former stationmaster's house survives.
