Readymoney Cove

Uploader's Comments

Readymoney Cove claims to have been a trading port prior to the Roman invasion and it was from here that the tin was exported. Above the cove is a former coach house which was the home of author, Daphne du Maurier, for a few years during the Second World War. Local legend has it that a mermaid frequents the cove during winter storms.
