Quee Ness, Shetland Islands

The saloon of Filla - the Out Skerries ferry

Uploader's Comments

This interior of Filla was taken in Grid Square HU5068 while on passage to Out Skerries. The locals had all taken to lying down on the seats with the exception of one fellow who read the magazine Fishing News all the journey. The passage was in reality smooth despite an easterly gale - all credit to the Polish designers and builders of the vessel. I have assigned this image to the departure point of Filla - Vidlin, on the Shetland mainland - because of the inherent problems of "all at sea" images.
