Substantial rectangular moated site of Bratoft Hall, probably started in the 13th century by the de Braytofts, passing through the Markhams who owned the site 1409 - 1538, before becoming the Massingberd family home. It was demolished in 1698 by Sir William Massingberd when Gunby Hall was built.
