Packsaddle Wood, Warwickshire

Collier's Oak farmhouse

Uploader's Comments

Originally a 16th century timber-framed farmhouse, which was extended in the 18th century and then had a section on this (eastern) end removed just before WWII. It was given a Grade II listing https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101186184-colliers-oak-farmhouse-fillongley#.WVzQZYQrKM8 in 1988. Significant quantities of the original timber frame are still visible internally, along with a number of other interior features (doorways, arches, fireplaces, etc) but much of the character has been lost externally due to the render.
