The crater is shown from the other side in [[5442850]]. In the present view, a fence whose course is marked on the 1:25000 map can be seen not far behind the crater. Old Largs Road is about 63 metres beyond the fence, and is parallel to it, but the road itself is not visible from this slightly lower ground.
