Approaching Castle Rock

Uploader's Comments

Castle Rock, a Birkett, has much steep ground (mainly to the west) and is often used as a training ground by aspirant rock climbers. Mere walkers need to exercise considerable care in routefinding. My suggestion is to follow the leat southwards to about NY 3205 1922, when easier slopes will be found.
