This Iron Age hill fort is surrounded by steep concentric ramparts and ditches enclosing a substantial area. There are also linear earthworks marked on the 1:25,000 map on the NW ridge below the fort. The hill in view just L of centre, White Meldon, also has a hill fort on top.
