Car park on Lane End Common

Uploader's Comments

Recently refurbished with new entrance incorporating a cattle grid. Several paths lead off onto the common, one of which leads to the road via a new bridle gate of the design where you pull a bar upwards to release the double catch. As this was broken, and not wishing to lose a finger while manually forcing the catch, I decided to risk breaking my leg on the cattle grid.
