This bronze sculpture is one of 12 sited along the route Berwickshire Coastal Path. Together they form a series of way marks linking together the settlements affected by the 1881 Eyemouth fishing Disaster in which 189 fishermen, mostly from Eyemouth, were lost during a severe storm in October of that year.
