A rather weathered OS cutmark on one of the sandstone blocks at the base of the church tower, last verified by the OS in 1958 at 77.73m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. It may well be a replacement for one shown on the 1886 map at 255ft 6in, which would very likely have been a 1GL bolt and cutmark, but has probably been removed in the meantime when masonry work replaced weathered stones in the tower.
