Another ford on the Monarch's Way this one is found beside the former Mill on Mill Lane near Bowshot Farm. Many thanks to Archie, the owner of the Mill property, for his hospitality on our visit. The footbridge on this photograph taken in 2006 has since been replaced by a much higher structure:
