Lairhope Burn, Scottish Borders

Craik Forest, near Teviothead

Uploader's Comments

Teviothead and Teviotdale are out of the picture to the right [south]. Before recent harvesting most of the picture would have been green with plantations. Pike and Mid Hills are near the centre, and Hairgrain Edge is the straight, distinct but narrow path with little shadow going up from lower middle to the notch in the right hand margin. Lairhope is at the very top, in a valley to the left of a track, which is marked on the 1:25000 map only as a forest track through the trees.
