The Sheffield Country Walk

Uploader's Comments

This track is also known as Lady Ida's Drive and is pictured here at the edge of Ladybank Wood. Conceived in the 1980s, The Sheffield Country Walk is represented on signposts by a wheatsheaf symbol, and should not to be confused with the equally scenic 'Sheffield Way'. The two routes share many ancient and modern pathways though the latter is shorter as it follows the Sheffield boundary more tightly. Lady Ida was the wife of George Sitwell of Renishaw Hall.
