Harwood Carrs, Carlisle

Boundary stone beside fence on heather moor

Uploader's Comments

The fence rises north-east towards Harwood Carrs (outcropping rocks), on a slope which itself rises to an unnamed top above 500m. A cut letter B is visible on the boundary stone, the other side has C. There's a whole series of similar stones and OS. Explorer OL43 marks many, but not all of them.
