Hartwith Moor, North Yorkshire

Footpath, Hartwith Moor

Uploader's Comments

This may have been an open moor once, but the land was enclosed and improved in the second half of the 19th century, so the path now follows one of the straight field walls. Nice stone step and gap stile using big through stones for the steps.
