Moorburn

Uploader's Comments

Burning off the old dead grass and heather on moorland and rough grazing takes place every spring - weather permitting. It encourages new growth, and within 2 or 3 weeks the burnt areas will be noticeably greener and lusher than neighbouring unburnt stretches of moorland.
