Grade II Listed barns. The Farm House (Mynachlog Fawr) was built on former lands of the Cistercian Abbey of Strata Florida, which were granted to the Sir Richard Devereux Earl of Essex at the Dissolution of the Monasteries. The Stedmans, who first leased and then purchased the Abbey itself built the plas or mansion of Mynachlog Fawr on the site of the Abbey Refectory and this passed in the mid 18th century to the Powells of Nanteos and later to the Vaughans of Trawscoed, the Arch family and then to the care of Strata Florida Trust.
