Uploader's Comments

Viewed from Meikle Ross the headland in the foreground is Balmangan Bar and the rocks at the point are named Galland Buoys. Ross Bay was called Balmangan Bay in the 1st OS Survey. http://maps.nls.uk/os/6inch/view/?sid=74427670&zoom=5&lat=6846.56632&lon=6720.5&layers=B. The view to the right is north up Kirkcudbright Bay towards Kirkcudbright.
