Ettrick Pen, Carlisle

Summit cairn, Ettrick Pen

Uploader's Comments

Ettrick Pen (692m) is the highest of the Ettrick 'Donald's' - hills in the Scottish Lowlands of 2000 feet and above, listed by Percy Donald. It gives very extensive views to the south as there is no higher ground between here and the Lake District. Skiddaw and Cross Fell in the Northern Pennines could be seen through a little haze on the horizon.
