The huge sturdy bulk of St Mary's, Edlesborough is visible for miles around, perched as it is on a small hill (125m spot height). Viewed here from the higher point of Ivinghoe Beacon (230m) its elevated position is not apparent. The bright yellow rape fields form a cloth of gold before it.
