View SE, towards Uttoxeter and Derby: ex-North Stafford, Derby - Uttoxeter - Stoke-on-Trent - Crewe main line. The station, which had been behind the bushes on the right, had been closed since 7/11/66 but the line is of course still functioning. There is a level-crossing just off frame to the right, but the signalbox seems to have been moved; it is the wrong way round and largely out of sight of the line or the crossing. (Cf. [[[354309]]]).
