Reed beds at Insherrit

Uploader's Comments

This is looking downstream from the tail of Insherrit Island; the former salmon fishing station at Fluckie can be distinguished. Insherrit Island was joined to the north bank of the River Tay in the 1830s to narrow the river and enhance the scouring effect of the current.
