Ram guarding a footpath south of West Newton, Sandringham

Uploader's Comments

Having walked for a while along a farm track I climbed onto a stile with every intention of continuing along the footpath through this field. However when I saw his horns the diameter of dinner plates and a scrotum the size of a coconut I realised this ram, highly charged with testosterone, had been put in this remote field to let him cool off a bit and I would stand no chance if he turned his aggression on me. I can only be thankful I spotted him before I went into the field.
