As the bridleway approaches this rocky hiatus and the heavy tubular railing comes into view, it's tempting to think that 'Health & Safety' considerations have again gone wild, but once the crossing is begun it's found that the slipperiness of the water-run rocks is quite treacherous! How on earth do horses manage?
