The V shaped valley in the distance is the entrance to Loch A'Choire in Movern (Gaelic for Loch of the Corrie), a Corrie or Cirque is a bowl shaped depression in the side of a mountain, which is often caused by the formation of or the start of a Glacier in the Ice Age in this case.
